Effective Agile Estimation
What does it take to get effective agile estimates? Is there some "magic incantation" that agile methods practitioners might use to consistently produce accurate estimates? If you've sometimes wondered about such questions, then this session is for you.Horia will show how through a purposeful choice of mental models and disciplined practice of certain techniques we can expect to derive more accurate estimates overtime, with economy of effort and minimal waste. Questions will be most welcome either during the session or in advance (via e-mail, see below).
Our speaker
Horia Slusanschi (pronounced Hó-re-ah Sloo-shan-ski) serves as the President of the New Zealand Chapter of the Association of Enterprise Architects. He holds a PhD in Computer Science, and is also a member the IEEE Computer Society, the IEEE and the ACM. He is most passionate about effective ecosystems, in which people delight in their daily activities and challenge themselves to develop their personal mastery and interpersonal synergy at a sustainable pace.
